When Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson were at church together in Hamburg they were certain there was no going back. Ashley was only 17 and never had a boyfriend so Andrew and Ashley took things very slow. But it was truly romance at first sight. Andrew asked for Ashley on New Year's Eve right prior to the start of the year in 2016, praying that God would give him one last blessing in the year. Then, Ashley would marry him. Ashley had always wanted a romantic, woodsy themed wedding with a folk theme that really represented her as well as Andrew. The wedding included the many things they love. Ashley's parents owned 40 acres of backyard. Ashley went on a walk around the region and had fun on every path they took to the field, where they exchanged vows. Andrew and Ashley walked through the same space when they began engaged. The importance of personalization was that almost all of the decorations were made by the bride and groom. Andrew's father as well as Ashley and Ashley made both the ceremony arch and the arches for the seats. Ashley made and painted some of the decorations for the wedding. Ashley says that the wedding wouldn't have been as beautiful without Anna's amazing floral designs, our wedding wouldn't be as beautiful or romantic as we had imagined. Simply stunning.
